New College Lanarkshire was formed by the merger of Cumbernauld College and Motherwell College in November 2013, with Coatbridge College joining the new college in April 2014. New College Lanarkshire has more than 25,000 students enrolled in courses across the college’s five campuses – Motherwell, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, Kirkintilloch and Broadwood – spanning more than 675,500 sq ft. Employability is also a focus for the college and each faculty has strong business links with industry leaders who are extremely supportive in offering student placements, experience and advice.

They focus on bringing together careers, skills, training and funding services.
