The Banks Group creates value through the sensitive development of land. Banks Renewables, Banks Mining and Banks Property create sustainable projects that support the economic, environmental and social wellbeing of the communities within which we operate. A family business we employ around 400 people across Scotland and the north of England and pride ourselves on “Development with Care”.
In Lanarkshire Banks Renewables’ Connect2Renewables initiative, a partnership with local communities and South Lanarkshire Council is delivering new opportunities for local people and maximising the social, economic and environmental benefits from our wind farms in the area. The initiative promotes a range of opportunities including direct training and employment, apprenticeships, scholarships and start-up awards for local people and businesses.
Our support for these important awards and the Apprentice of the Year is a further recognition of the importance we place on developing people and businesses in the communities in which we work. We wish all nominees the very best of luck!
